Dalby moves to Edwards

Daily Staff Report
January 26, 2005

EDWARDS – The accounting firm Dalby, Wendland & Co. has moved from Eagle-Vail to Edwards.

The 50-year-old company’s new offices in the Edwards Plaza will accommodate a growing staff as Dalby, Wendland & Co. expands, said Jim Douras, managing partner of the Vail Valley office.

“Many of the valley’s new residents have sophisticated financial plans in place with their accountant back home and they’re reluctant to change to a local firm,” Douras said, “Once they see the breadth of expertise and experience of Dalby, Wendland it becomes very easy and comfortable for them to use our accounting and business advisory services.”

The public is invited to the firm’s open house in Edwards Plaza, Suite 11, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Feb. 3.

“Everyone’s receiving their federal and state tax forms in the mail right now so it’s a perfect time not only to celebrate our move but to remind people that there’s an accounting firm in Vail Valley that has the expertise of any major firm,” Douras said.

Dalby, Wendland & Co. was founded in 1948 and has offices in Grand Junction, Glenwood Springs, Montrose, Edwards, Aspen and Telluride.
