Education
Steve is a 1980 magna cum laude graduate of the University of Denver School of Accountancy.
Professional & Business History
Steve joined Dalby, Wendland & Co., P.C., in 1980 and became a principal in 1987. He has been in charge of the firm’s Glenwood Springs office since 1994. In 2005, he was elected President and Chairman of the Board of Dalby, Wendland & Co., P.C.
Steve and his wife, April, are operating partners in the Hotel Denver of Glenwood Springs, the Glenwood Canyon Brewing Company, a restaurant, microbrewery and pub in Glenwood Springs, and other commercial real estate holdings in Western Colorado.
Range of Experience
Steve has considerable experience and expertise in the areas of real estate development and investment, as well as the lodging, restaurant, recreation, construction and retail industries.
Steve particularly enjoys business, financial, estate and tax planning/consulting.
As the principal in charge of the Glenwood Springs office, Steve is responsible for the overall management of the office including general administration, personnel, and fiscal management.
Additionally, as President and Chairman of the Board, Steve presides over the meetings of the board of directors of the firm.
