Continuing Professional Education (CPE)

Significant changes in the auditing and accounting industry make continuing education classes for accounting professionals a vital requirement.

Our staff completes the majority of continuing professional education through attendance at classes developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants, among other industry organizations that specialize in specific areas of professional education.

We spend significant time and resources training for the audit and tax areas of our practice because we understand the importance of providing our clients with highly trained professionals who are aware and understand the need to stay on top of the complicated changes and current developments in tax laws and rules and regulations from the Internal Revenue Service.

Our Firm policy requires all DWC professionals to comply with the continuing education requirements of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado State Board of Accountancy.

What distinguishes our Firm in regards to continuing education is that our audit, accounting and tax personnel receive continuing professional education in the areas where they spend the majority of their time. Also, because we are members of the American Institute of Certified Public Accounting Government Audit Quality Center, we are also subject to additional continuing professional education requirements. Many smaller firms are not able to provide the extensive training that we provide to our staff, but we believe this is yet another way our clients benefit from Dalby, Wendland & Co., P.C.
