Professional Experience

Kelsa joined DWC’s audit and assurance team in 2011. Since that time, she has developed expertise in providing attest and accounting services such as financial statement audits, reviews, compilations, agreed-upon procedures, and client accounting services for a wide variety of clients in several industries, including financial institutions, construction, manufacturing, mining, oil and gas services, life and health insurance, retail, fixed-based operators (FBOs), nonprofits, governmental special districts, and employee benefit plans including 401(k) plans, 403(b) plans, and health and welfare plans.

Kelsa is one of DWC’s specialists in audit and attest services for employee benefit plans and has attained advanced certification in this area from the AICPA. As a leader at DWC in providing client accounting services, she provides outsourced chief financial officer (CFO) and controller services to clients in a wide range of industries. Due to Kelsa’s breadth of experience with attest and accounting services, she is also beneficial in assisting with preparing business valuations alongside other valuation analysts at DWC with accredited in business valuation (ABV) and certified valuation analyst (CVA) credentials.

Originally from Meeker, Colorado, Kelsa attained a bachelor of science degree in accounting with a minor in computer information systems from Colorado Mesa University in 2012.
